Ingredients
Tea Base
- 8 tea bags
- 1.5 liters (6 cups) boiling water
Mix-ins
- 1 liter (4 cups) juice of your choice (such as lemon, peach, or apple juice)
- 2 cups fresh fruit and herbs of your choice (such as lemon slices, mint leaves, berries)
Instructions
- Brew the Tea: Pour the boiling water over the 8 tea bags in a heatproof container and allow them to steep for 5 minutes to extract a strong tea flavor. Carefully remove the tea bags and set aside.
- Cool the Tea: Let the brewed tea cool to room temperature. To speed up cooling, add ice cubes directly into the tea. This will chill the tea faster without diluting the flavor too much.
- Combine and Serve: Once the tea is cool, pour it into a large jug. Add 1 liter of your chosen fruit juice to the tea and stir well for a balanced taste. Add fresh fruit and herbs for garnish along with additional ice to keep the drink cold. Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can use any tea variety you prefer such as black, green, or herbal teas.
- Adjust the amount of fruit juice depending on your desired sweetness and flavor intensity.
- Adding fresh herbs like mint or basil adds a refreshing twist.
- For a less sweet version, dilute the fruit juice with sparkling water.
- Serve with additional lemon slices or berries for attractive presentation.
