Description

Delicious and healthy Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters that combine fresh strawberries with creamy Greek yogurt, honey, and a rich chocolate coating. Perfect for a refreshing snack or a guilt-free dessert, these clusters freeze to a perfect bite-sized treat and offer a delightful mix of creamy, fruity, and chocolaty flavors.

Ingredients

Yogurt Mixture

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the yogurt mixture: In a large bowl, combine the chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract thoroughly until all ingredients are well mixed and evenly distributed.
  2. Form clusters: Spoon approximately 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture per cluster onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a large plate, shaping them into small, bite-sized clusters. This should yield about 10 clusters.
  3. Freeze the clusters: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and allow the clusters to freeze completely and become solid, which takes approximately 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave the mixture in 15 to 30-second intervals, stirring well between each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  5. Coat the clusters: Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer and carefully dip each into the melted chocolate, using a spoon to ensure each cluster is thoroughly coated. Place each coated cluster back onto the prepared baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle a small amount of sea salt over the clusters for added flavor.
  6. Freeze again: Return the coated clusters to the freezer for a few minutes to allow the chocolate to harden and the yogurt to solidify slightly, making them ready to enjoy as a chilled, refreshing treat.

Notes

  • Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creamier texture and better flavor.
  • Make sure the clusters are completely frozen before dipping to prevent melting.
  • Use a spoon to coat clusters evenly with chocolate to avoid clumps.
  • Optionally, sprinkle sea salt or shredded coconut on top before freezing for extra flavor.
  • Store leftover clusters in an airtight container in the freezer to keep them fresh longer.
