Ingredients

For the Salmon:

  • 12 oz. salmon, cut into 23 fillet strips
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper

For the Honey Garlic Glaze:

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon warm water
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced into wedges
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Season the Salmon: Season the surface of the salmon with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, then set aside.
  2. Prepare the Glaze: In a bowl, combine honey, water, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to mix.
  3. Cook the Salmon: Heat an oven-safe skillet over high heat. Pan-fry the salmon, skin side down, for 1 minute. Flip and cook for another minute, then turn over again.
  4. Add Flavors: Sauté garlic until slightly browned. Add the honey mixture and lemon wedges to the skillet. Reduce the sauce until sticky.
  5. Broil the Salmon: Optional step – broil the salmon in the oven for 1 minute until slightly charred.
  6. Serve: Top with parsley and serve immediately.
