Description

Enjoy a simple yet delicious dessert featuring fresh pineapple spears grilled to perfection and drizzled with a warm cinnamon honey sauce. This quick recipe delivers a perfect balance of sweet and smoky flavors in just 16 minutes.

Ingredients

For the Honey Cinnamon Drizzle

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

For the Grilled Pineapple

  • 1 pineapple, sliced into spears
  • Non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the grill: Preheat the grill to medium heat and lightly spray it with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  2. Grill the pineapple: Place the pineapple spears directly on the grill. Cook each side for about 3 minutes until the pineapple is grilled and has nice char marks.
  3. Make the honey cinnamon drizzle: While the pineapple is grilling, warm the honey in the microwave for about 30 seconds until softened. Stir in the cinnamon thoroughly to combine.
  4. Serve: Remove the grilled pineapple from the grill and drizzle the cinnamon honey sauce evenly over the spears. Serve immediately to enjoy the warm, sweet flavors.

Notes

  • You can use a stovetop grill pan if an outdoor grill is unavailable.
  • Adjust the amount of cinnamon to your taste for more or less spice.
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert variation.
  • Leftover honey cinnamon drizzle can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
