Description

A vibrant and refreshing fruit salad featuring a colorful mix of strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, kiwi, grapes, mango, and mandarin oranges tossed in a zesty honey lime dressing. Perfect for a light dessert or healthy snack, this salad is quick to prepare and best enjoyed fresh.

Ingredients

Fruit

  • 1 (16 oz) package strawberries, sliced
  • 1 (6 oz) package raspberries
  • 1 pineapple, cut into chunks
  • 4 kiwi, peeled and sliced
  • 3 cups grapes, cut in half
  • 3 mangos, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 5 mandarin oranges, peeled and segmented

Honey Lime Dressing

  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime zest
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruit: Wash all the fruit thoroughly. Slice the strawberries, peel and slice the kiwi, peel and cut the pineapple and mangos into chunks, cut grapes in half, and peel and segment the mandarin oranges. Place all the prepared fruit into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Make the dressing: In a small bowl, whisk together the fresh lime juice, fresh lime zest, and honey until well combined and smooth.
  3. Toss the salad: Pour the honey lime dressing over the mixed fruit in the large bowl. Stir gently but thoroughly to ensure all the fruit is coated evenly with the dressing.
  4. Serve: Serve the fruit salad immediately to enjoy its freshest flavor and best texture. This salad is not recommended to sit for long periods as the fruit will release juices and become soggy.

Notes

  • This salad is best served immediately after the dressing is poured to maintain freshness and texture.
  • You can substitute or add other fruits based on seasonality or preference, such as blueberries, apples, or bananas.
  • If preparing ahead of time, keep the dressing separate and toss just before serving to prevent sogginess.
