Description

This Easy Peach Crisp recipe combines juicy fresh peaches with a crispy oat topping for a delightful dessert that’s perfect for any occasion. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a truly comforting treat.

Ingredients

Filling:

  • 67 large peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Topping:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and flour. Toss gently to coat the peaches evenly.
  3. Spread the peach mixture in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in melted butter until well combined.
  5. Sprinkle the oat mixture over the peaches in the baking dish.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

  • For a twist, try adding a handful of chopped nuts like pecans or almonds to the topping mixture.
  • Feel free to adjust the sugar in the filling based on the sweetness of your peaches.
  • Leftovers can be stored covered in the refrigerator and reheated in the oven or microwave.
