Description

A creamy, flavorful pasta dish featuring tender chicken cooked in a rich buttery sauce infused with bold spices, perfect for quick and satisfying weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Season chicken pieces with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add chicken to skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add cooked linguine to skillet and toss to coat evenly with sauce and chicken.
  7. Cook for another 2 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • Add sautéed bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach for extra nutrition.
  • Increase chili powder or add crushed red pepper flakes for a spicier dish.
  • Swap linguine for fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti.
  • Use half-and-half or creamy cashew sauce instead of heavy cream for a lighter option.
  • Add fresh basil or thyme for different herbal flavors.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently in skillet over low heat with splash of cream or water; microwave may alter texture.
