Ingredients
Chicken Drumsticks:
- 8–12 Chicken Drumsticks
Seasoning:
- Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
- 2 tsp Dried basil
- 2 tsp Paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp Dried thyme
- 2 tsp Rosemary
- 2 tbsp Garlic (minced)
- 1 large onion (minced)
- 1 Bell pepper (minced)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder or two cubes
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees: Prepare the oven for baking.
- Clean/Wash chicken and season: Rinse the chicken, pat dry, and season with salt, pepper, paprika, basil, thyme, and rosemary.
- Brown chicken in skillet: Brown seasoned chicken in a skillet on all sides.
- Sauté vegetables and garlic: Sauté onions, bell peppers, and garlic in the same skillet.
- Add flour and broth: Stir in flour and chicken broth.
- Combine milk, cream, and bouillon: Add milk, heavy cream, and chicken bouillon, then mix well.
- Finish and bake: Stir in fresh parsley, return chicken to skillet, spoon gravy over chicken, and bake for 40 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy: Serve the chicken over your favorite side dish.
