Description

Chocolate Strawberry Yogurt Clusters are a refreshing, healthy dessert made with creamy Greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, honey, and a rich coating of semi-sweet chocolate. These no-bake frozen treats offer a perfect balance of sweet and tangy flavors with a crunchy chocolate shell, ideal for hot days or anytime you crave a guilt-free dessert.

Ingredients

Fruit and Yogurt Mixture

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Yogurt Mixture: In a large bowl, combine the chopped strawberries, plain Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  2. Form the Clusters: Scoop about 2 tablespoons of the yogurt mixture at a time and place onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet or a large plate, shaping each into a cluster. You should end up with approximately 10 clusters.
  3. Freeze the Clusters: Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the clusters until they are completely firm and solid, which will take about 1 to 2 hours.
  4. Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips with the coconut oil. Microwave the mixture in 15 to 30-second intervals, stirring between each session until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  5. Coat the Clusters: Remove the frozen yogurt clusters from the freezer. Using a spoon, dip each cluster into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Place the coated clusters back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Optionally, sprinkle a little sea salt over each cluster for added flavor.
  6. Set the Chocolate: Return the chocolate-coated clusters to the freezer for a few minutes until the chocolate hardens and the yogurt firms up slightly again. Serve and enjoy these delicious frozen treats!

Notes

  • Use plain Greek yogurt for the best creamy texture and tangy flavor.
  • Be gentle when dipping the clusters to maintain their shape.
  • Sprinkling sea salt on top enhances the chocolate flavor and balances sweetness.
  • Store clusters in an airtight container in the freezer for up to one week.
  • For a sweeter yogurt base, you can increase honey to 2 tablespoons.
